Privacy Policy

Squad Finder for Wardogs ("Squad Finder", "we") is a Discord bot run by the operator. This policy explains what the bot stores, why, and for how long. For questions or requests, contact us.
What we store

| Profile answers you give: region, languages, roles, whether you lead, intensity, voice preference, playstyles, mode, faction, usual hours, time zone, experience, and optionally a Steam profile link and a short bio. Also whether you confirmed you are 18 or older, if a server asks. | To match you with compatible players and show your squadmates who you are. |
| Queue and squad activity: when you join or leave the queue, ready-check answers, squads you were in, your suggested role, and when you joined or left a squad's voice channel | To run squads, detect no-shows, and decide whether ratings count. We record join and leave times only, never audio. |
| Ratings you give and receive, favorites and blocks | To build reputation and improve future matches. Who rated whom is never shown to anyone. |
| Reports you file or that are filed about you, including the reason given | So server moderators can act on them. |
| Server settings chosen by admins: channel, category and role IDs, squad size, regions | To run the bot on that server. |
| An event log, such as "squad formed" or "player joined the queue" | To measure whether matching works and to report total numbers to sponsors. Sponsors only ever see totals, never individual players. |
What we don't collect
We don't read or store your messages, record voice, or collect your email address or IP address. We don't handle payment details. Tips go through Ko-fi under its own privacy policy.
Who can see your information
- Your squadmates see your Discord name, suggested role, intensity and voice preference on the ready check. On the squad card they also see your Steam link and bio, if you added them.
- Server moderators see reports filed in their server.
- Service providers that host the bot and its database store this data on our behalf and may not use it for anything else. Discord also processes it, as the platform the bot runs on.
- Authorities, only if the law requires it.
We never sell your data, share it with advertisers or data brokers, or use it to train AI models.
How long we keep it

Database backups kept by our host may hold copies for a short time after deletion.
Your choices and rights
/meshows your record./profilelets you change your answers./delete-meerases your profile and history straight away.- Contact us to ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR in the EU and UK, or CCPA in California), you may have further rights. We'll respond within 30 days.
Age
You must meet Discord's minimum age to use Discord, and therefore Squad Finder. Servers can choose to match only players who confirm they are 18 or older.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. If a change is significant, we'll announce it in the Squad Finder hub server.
